This is a statement on the accessibility of fabiangigler.com

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Limitations and alternatives

Despite my best efforts to ensure accessibility of this website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations:

  1. "Book a meeting" Overlays: The overlay does not fully respond to the expected keyboard shortcuts, most notably escape to close the modal. An external service is embedded inside an iFrame, making it impossible to listen to keypresses for security reasons. I'm looking into a different method to integrate bookable meetings. I'll happily arrange meetings through more accessible means like Email or via Phone in the meantime.
